The flexor muscles and tendons in the forearm are critical in controlling proper hand movements.  The muscles of particular importance are flexor carpi ulnaris, flexor carpi radialis, pronator teres, and flexor digitorum profundus and superficialis.  Any adhesions or scar tissue that develops between these muscles will impede their function.  Proper treatment with Active Release will restore normal function.
