Concussions

A concussion is an injury to the brain due to a direct trauma to the head.  This is a serious injury that requires the immediate attention of an emergency room.  Once the concussion victim has been determined to have no major skull or brain injuries, any potential injury to cervical spine (neck) musculature should be addressed.
