Ankle Sprains

Inversion sprains are the most common of the ankle sprains (the ankle turns inward). In an inversion sprain, the anterior talofibular ligament is the most commonly damaged.  As the severity of the injury increases, so does the healing time and number of structures involved.  Improper healing of this injury can result in permanent dysfunction of the joint.  A host of extremely effective treatments are available at the Active Body Chiropractic clinic to minimize recovery time and maximize function after the injury.
