Adhesive
Capsulitis
In adhesive
capsulitis, the fibrous capsule that holds the shoulder in its socket
becomes contracted and greatly inhibits the shoulder's range of
motion. This isn't usually a painful problem but without the
shoulder's full range of motion both athletic activities and activities
of daily living will become challenging. A host of Active
Release and rehabilitation techniques are necessary to loosen the
capsule and restore the normal range of motion.
